Refund Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to purchases, if any, made directly from Piece of Cake (www.itspieceofcake.com), operated by LEARNING PATHS TECHNOLOGIES LLP. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Gift-pool contributions

Gift pooling is a coordination feature. The event host adds their own UPI ID or QR code, and guests send contributions directly to the host.

• Piece of Cake does not receive, hold, route, process or settle gift-pool contributions.
• Piece of Cake does not charge transaction fees on those contributions.
• Any charges imposed by a bank or payment app are outside Piece of Cake.

3. Refunds for gift-pool contributions

Because contributions are transferred directly from a guest to the host, Piece of Cake cannot issue, reverse or guarantee a refund. Any refund must be arranged directly between the guest and the host using the relevant bank or payment app.

If a transfer is pending, failed, duplicated or sent to the wrong account, the guest should contact their bank or payment app. Piece of Cake does not have access to the transaction or the funds.

4. Piece of Cake purchases

Piece of Cake is currently free during launch. If paid plans or direct purchases are introduced later, the applicable price, cancellation terms and refund conditions will be shown clearly before purchase and this policy will be updated.

5. Consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights that apply to a purchase made directly from Piece of Cake.
